Bet-lehem La Guadalupana, Church-in-Formation

La Guadalupana is a housing development across the highway from Chiconautla.  Together with two other developments "next door", there are about 13,000 tiny homes in this relatively new area.  Most families have moved there just recently, having left behind everything familiar to them to start out on their own.  This typically means that many will be open to other changes as well, including religious ones. 

This young church, called Unidos en Cristo (United in Christ), was planted by a team from Bet-lehem Chiconautla which started outreach there in 2004.  In January 2008 the church was officially established as a self-supporting body under the leadership of Eloisa Rayon.  Services and activities are held in a small home rented exclusively for the church, with about 35-40 people attending regularly on Sundays.
